Recently myself and my fiance took a visit to the Pretoria Zoo. Both of us are not really fond of the idea of keeping animals in cages. However, the resident animals at the Pretoria zoo look very comfortable and happy in their homes. This came as a pleasant surprise.
Among a varied range of mammals, i managed to count over 44 bird species while at the zoo.
As a bird lover, i loved this.
If you are in the mood for a day out with the kids or the family, the Pretoria zoo was great.
